Reconnect OAuth Credential in a Connection

Reconnect OAuth Credential in a Connection

Overview

In some situations, it is necessary to replace or reconnect an OAuth credential within an existing connection. This typically occurs when:

  • The credential has expired or is no longer valid

  • Access has been revoked by the external system

  • The user account used for authentication has changed

  • Permissions or scopes have been modified

  • The connection shows errors related to authentication

Replacing the credential ensures that the connection can continue to communicate securely with the accounting software.

1. Create a New Credential

  1. Navigate to Credentials in the platform
